Serve Your Community - Become a Member of the Grant Funding Advisory Committee 

The City of Beaumont invites you to serve on the Grant Funding Advisory Committee. There will be four (4) vacancies as of December 31, 2024.

Mandate
The Grant Funding Advisory Committee makes recommendations related to the awarding of Community Grant Program funds in accordance with the program guidelines and ensures funding allocations reflect the best interests of the community and align with Council priorities.


Membership and Term
The Committee shall consist of three (3) to seven (7) members appointed by Council. Members are appointed for a two (2)-year term, and no member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive two (2)-year terms. Members must be residents of Beaumont.


Time Commitment
A minimum of four (4) meetings will be held each year, in addition to time required on own to review grant applications.

The two (2) grant application evaluation meetings (approximately four (4) hours in length) will occur in April and October and will be held at one of the City facilities.

Remuneration
Committee members are eligible for an honorarium.
