Planner II (Multiple Positions)
The City of Beaumont is the fastest growing municipality in the Edmonton Region! Located at the southern boundary of Alberta’s capital city, Edmonton, and 15 kilometers east of the Edmonton International Airport, Beaumont is home to nearly 25,000 people. Beaumont’s growth trajectory and strategic location present a variety of rewarding professional challenges and opportunities to apply forward-thinking planning concepts to shape the growth and development of the community.
The Planning and Development Team is responsible for stewarding this incredible growth through our development planning, city and regional planning, and safety codes service areas. Our team is highly collaborative, dynamic, fun, and talented. We strive to be problem solvers, community builders, and relentlessly curious professionals, guided by both technical rigor and strong sense of purpose. Beaumont is seeking multiple planning professionals to join our Planning and Development Team! We have up to two permanent, full-time Planner II positions and one Planner II position on a 24-month term.
Starting in 2026, Beaumont’s Planning & Development Department will undertake several transformative projects that will shape the future of our growing city.
