Serve Your Community - Become a Member of the Beaumont Youth Advisory Committee
The City of Beaumont invites you to serve on the Beaumont Public Library Board. There will be seven (7) vacancies as of December 31, 2025.

Mandate
The Youth Advisory Committee provides advice to Council on matters that have a significant impact to youth in Beaumont, such as, but not limited to mental health supports, youth activities and programing, volunteer and employment supports, and civic engagement.
Membership & Term
The Committee shall consist of five (5) to nine (9) members appointed by Council. Members are appointed for a two (2)-year term, and no member shall serve more than two (2) consecutive two (2)-year terms. Members must be residents of Beaumont.
Public Members must be residents of the City and must be between the age of 16 and 22 at the time of appointment.
Time Commitment
Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:00pm at one of the city facilities. A minimum of 10 meetings a year unless otherwise determined by the committee.
Remuneration
Committee members are eligible for an honorarium.
