We are seeking energetic and customer service focused Facility Attendants to join our team at the Beaumont Community Center, which boasts 30,000-square feet designed for trade shows, banquets, weddings, dances, meetings, and celebrations large and small. If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Facility Attendant position could be a great fit for you! Our casual Facility Attendants work up to 15 hours per week.

What YOU’RE Responsible for:
  • Interact with facility patrons in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner and proactively address concerns
  • Set-up and take-down of equipment for hall and meeting room rentals
  • Provide information regarding programs, products, services, and events
  • Light janitorial duties
  • Routine security checks
  • Ensure adherence to Legislative regulations, Safety Directives and procedures and all respectful workplace standards
  • Report unsafe conditions and near miss incidents promptly
  • Attend regular safety meetings and promote a positive attitude
  • Other duties as required
What YOU Bring:
  •   High School Diploma or GED  and must be over 18 years of age
  •   Previous experience with customer service
  •   Basic computer skills
  •   First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to acquire at own cost)
  •   Previous food handling experience and ProServe training is an asset
As the successful candidate you will have the ability to:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure patrons have a great experience
  • Problem solve and respond quickly to issues or concerns 
  • Adhere to long periods of standing, walking, pushing, and grasping
  • Lift heavy equipment and materials up to 23 kilograms (50 lbs.)
  • Provide a clear Criminal Record Check
  • Communicate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility
  • Meet the shift requirements; shifts may include opening the facility, late evenings closing the facility, weekends and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned
